Yes - I noticed that too. On the other hand, the
BasicAtom Pro doesn't have analogue outputs either -
a high-quality ADC is used with a serial interface.
Similar capabilities could be added to this as well.

Some of the other disadvantages:

* Arduino uses an ATMega8, which runs rather slower
than the Renesas chip in the BasicAtom Pro. I've got
no clear idea how the overall speeds compare however.

* The Processing language doesn't support floating
point operations.

* Processing is C-like, not BASIC-like. Some learning
curve involved.

* Only 13 digital I/O and 5 Analog I/O.

As you said - so close.
