Speaking of input and outputs:

We're dealing with unipolar signals, correct? 0 to ~10 volts.

John Lofflink had made a suggestion regarding an output level shifter using
half of Vref.

I suppose that the same offset could be applied to inputs in order to accept
bipolar signals. True? Useful?
