I am just setting up my VF1 and would like to know if there is a way to get the master volume for all effects to default to the same setting, across the board. As I am assinging effects to my FCB1010, I have to adjust the volume for each one. My preference is that they are all the same. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, I was having trouble programming my own patches to get nice sounds because it takes a long time. I was interested in the patches that are available in the group site, such as the patches posted by FRANKENFRED. These files are .syx files, so i don't know how to open them or if i have to connect the vf-1 to my computer adn if i have to, how to do it. I would appreciate it if you help me out. Hi!
Download MIDI OX program from the Internet, by that you can open the files and download them to your VF-1.

Hi, So once i have the MIDI usb or soundcard cable, I should download MIDI-OX?? After that is done, what are the procedures to enter info into the vf-1? What do i need to do with my vf-1? and what will happen to the presets already in it? Thank you, __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! No not really, I think you can copy specific amp settings from patch to patch though I am not sure about this. But you should tweak every single patch til you gor what you want. Not every piece of (guitar) music during a recording or gig is at the same level and different amp types give different respons. But with the fcb 1010 you shoiuld be able to control the volume settings with one of the pedals. Sjaak --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. You need to do a midi bulk dump to save/backup the patches in the VF on your computer ,it is dexcribed in the manual pages 98 - 101. For sending patches from the puter to the vf-1 you will have to perform a midi bulk dump, also pages 98 - 101. It is not that difficult, Sjaak What > do i need to do with my vf-1? and what will happen to > the presets already in it? > Thank you, > > > > __________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > Yahoo! For receiving sysex the procedure is pretty much the same except you have to selet "midi Bulk Load". The message " now waiting " appears. Start sending syx from Midi ox (or cubase or sonar/cakewalk) and the boss tells you "Now Receiving" Wait for the " complete " message press " Utility" That's it Hope this helps Sjaak
