You need to do a midi bulk dump to save/backup the patches in the VF on your
computer ,it is dexcribed in the manual pages 98 - 101.

For sending patches from the puter to the vf-1 you will have to perform a
midi bulk dump, also pages 98 - 101.


It is not that difficult,
