You can only assign a certain number of controllers to regular cc numbers. Most, except the ribbon and the wheels, are NRPN's. Go in to global. You will see that there is a place for you to assign letters to control change numbers. It limited though. I think that there are only about eight or so letters to associate. Once they are associated you can then assign them to mods, have the assigned parameters controlled by incoming control change messeges, and so on and so forth. Hope this helps. By the way, Are you making any original patches? I'd like to hear any that you are proud of.
