Thanks for taking the time to respond, Ted. Sounds like a rare issue that might have gotten over-magnified. If the original writer (Carlos?) is reading, all I advise is that he file suit... nothing says "sorry" like cash... and cash can buy another Andromeda. If Alesis is playing dumb, they can PAY dumb, too. I say make 'em show; if they don't, they pay. Best of luck. >From: Ted Slominski <ted.slominski@...> >Reply-To: Andromeda_A6-ION@yahoogroups.com >To: Andromeda_A6-ION@yahoogroups.com >Subject: Re: [Andromeda_A6-ION] LCD screen burn on Andromeda? >Date: Wed, 20 Dec 2006 20:26:02 -0800 > >there's a thread about it at: http://mailman.code404.com/mailman/ >listinfo/a6 > >basically alesis has shipped a faulty batch of A6s and for those >unfortunate folks who have gotten them have had their "fixed" ones >also be faulty... here it the first post i was regarding it. > >"Hello, > >I have seen the current topic going on the list regarding the faulty >batch of >Andromedas released by Alesis. > >Months ago I posted my own experience, a big challenge that has left me >without Andromeda, and with Alesis not shipping a new batch, until >today. > >Alesis is having trouble making Andromedas because they don't have >delivery of >certain chips to make them.
