Alesis Andromeda A6

Compared to an Xpander, JP-8, and even the great VAs like the JP8000 and Nord 3, is the 
Andy one of the best at pads? I've been looking for a pad machine. I love analog, but the 
JP8K and NL3 can get some pretty nice trance pads. Anyways, I was just curious what you 
guys think about the Andy's pads, and if any of you have some other analog or VA pad 
machines to compare them to, even better. 

For pads, I own a Sunsyn and a Novation KS-5. The KS-5 doesn't seem to quite cut it in 
the pads dept. Its great at other stuff though. I was looking at older polys like the 
Oberheim OB-8/Xa and VA stuff like the Nord 3. Its hard for me to compare so hopefully 
someone can help me out.
