ATtiny2313 supported by the STK500?

Just received an STK500 and a few devices to start with from Digikey (quick service!). Looks like it should be nice for quick prototypes and programming. From the latest on-line docs for the STK500, it appears that it does not support the ATtiny2313? AVR Studio appears to support simmulation of it. The '2313 has the right mix of functionality for some of the projects I'm planning so it would be a disappointment if it was not supported on-board. I'm going to jump right in and see what I can figure out, but does anybody already have the definitive answer? By the way, thanks to the group for answering my first round of new-user questions a few weeks ago. I've got Win-AVR and AVR Studio v4.11.401 installed and playing together, but have not yet fired up the STK500. I also picked up an AVR Butterfly 'cause it looked so cute and I wanted to see if I could turn it into a spindle tachometer for one of my lathes. Cheers! Paul California
