Foreign prices ?
Why don't you just select US$ as currency in the shop ? ;-)
I have no distributor in the US, but I have several hundred customers all
over
the world, and still haven't had a single complaint. (Well, there was this
dude in Singapore that dumped the kit in the wastebasket, because it was
way too complicated, but he didn't actually complain !).
Jamie:
With the PDIUSBD12 chip, you need a fair amount of code in the player
to make it work.
That's why I skipped that chip, and used the FTDI chips instead.
As we were using a custom filesystem to maximize the use of card or disk
space, the player wouldn't be able to pop up as a standard drive anyway.
Using a USB-key for memory is a different, but also somewhat complicated
way. That would require ther player to implement the USB Host protocol.
While the chips (like the SL811HS) are avilable, the software side if it is
relatively complicated, even though some shortcuts can be made.
