I started out writing Z8 code.
Their emulator was only useful for programming OTPs, it wouldn't single step!

Then, they tried to sell me some Z8s that had no flash (fantasy at that time), no emulation, and no OTP!  You'd have to send them a hex file, and wait for mask parts.
