Don't you have an old copy of XP lying around? Even if you don't it only costs $140 or so for XP Pro, a nickel in the bucket of what you have invested. The web is full of reports of people "downgrading" (upgrading in my book) from Vista to XP. You'll be doing yourself a big favor to go back to XP even if you give up on programming and electronics. There is plenty of useful information out there, and it's mostly go back to XP. That requires the purchase of yet *MORE* worthless SHITE from Mickey$hit. After 3+ weeks of getting *NOWHERE* with this problem, and being able to find NO useful information *ANYWHERE* I am giving in. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
