Hi Tim, K-edit works with all varieties of K1000 and K1200 keyboards, plus the PX/AX/SX/HX/GX modules. You simply MUST try these guys out. I have 11 of them!! -which seems like overkill but you can chain link more than one of the same type for double, triple and more polyphony. It puts the Proteus range to shame completely, and the depth and rfange of sounds is truly astonishing. Many of the sounds are still in the current range of Kurzweils so they're unacknowledged classics and built like tanks. Ebay prices in the US seem to be very low: from $50-250 or thereabouts depending on spec, and all of them are upgradeable with extra sound chips and OS roms. Kurzweil provided a sound library with Objectmover (also in the files section) that has some wonderful patches. You can get the full info here: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/K1000-K1200/ -nearly 500 users there! Best wishes, David. --- In atari-midi-archives@yahoogroups.com, "timothyconrardy" <tconrardy@...> wrote: > > > Hi David > > Thanks to George and yourself for getting this together.
