The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Well, I'll join the club.
	Setting: Great Barrington, MA, USA  (the scenic Berkshires)

	I work at a funky restaurant called Helsinki Tea Company which opened 
their club in late November (Club Helsinki) and I see fantastic music 2-4 
nights a week.  Yesterday was Henry Butler, tonight Phoebe Legere, tomorrow 
Hamiet Bluett (!).  They've had Olu Dara (check him out!), Soulive, 
Jiggawattica, Odetta, Charles Neville, and many more in a space for just 
over 100 people!  Next week we've got Burning Spear for two nights and then 
Maceo Parker!!!  (Maceo's going to be in the local old movie theater which 
seats 600--if you've seen  "Cider House Rules" that's the movie 
theater).  Sadly they don't have a web page, though we're getting there.

	I also started a web site for my own music, but it needs some updating 
(plenty of sounds on da way).  Feel free to check it out:

I didn´t go, too crowded (1.5 million ppl stepping on MY feet? No 
thanks!). The flair of old days are gone. To go to the Love Parade is 
nowadays like going to Disney World. And why would i like to swim 
with the stream, when i only get to the destination by swimming 
AGAINST it? So no Love Parade for me...which is too far off in Berlin 
anyway.

LOL...that you have to explain it makes it even more

cutting in on this thread a little late, but

i currently reside in Oakland, CA. i work in Silicon Valley for an 
Internet company, rhymes with wahoo. heh.

i've had my AN1x since late 98 and i come to appreciate it more and 
mroe every day.
