Yes, I agree... Their marketing is not very effective.

I love my EX5R sound-wise. It is amazing. The problem with the unit is that the
processor is weak and the OS was never fully developed. Yamaha dumped
supporting it once a lot of noise was made in the user forums which scared off
potential buyers. I think Yamaha looks for a certain level (#'s sold) of sales
to continue support of a product. They received a real black eye with the EX
line.

Same with Waldorf and their MWII XT. It is based on wavetable synthesis and is
truly amazing in sound. It does stuff that a VA couldn't even dream of and is
well worth a listen.

I love my A3000, over any other sampler, because of it's u-friendly interface
and because it can read almost any format samplecd, and because you can put 128 megs of ram in it, (which isn't all that little ;) and because of
it's variety of filters (V2)
and it's effects are a true bonus, too. ;)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
