yep
and more... but posts are seldom in some groups... I hang as there are some there who don't like yahoo etc.. and on occasion, stuff I can't find anywhere else... I was just talking to Jay yesterday via email... ;-) we are on other groups too...

Another big issue for me is the chameleon. For a while there was no forum at soundart for it, ampfea was the only way to keep in contact.

I knew about the teklab part but that was a good history.

When I said I know nada about them, it was the patches. Not ampfea... ;-) just in case I twisted another post into something not intended.. (I am rather good at that...).

David Sylvester is in charge I think of the ION group but it's near dead on ampfea. I placed some files there off the yahoo group yesterday in case someone was there and not on yahoo.

Such it is... going this is going OT for here....

<snip>Once upon a time ampfea was Teklab - also sponsored by Jay Vaughn - the original sponsor of AN1x-list along with the Music Bar and a-list (for A3000 user's). In late '99 their server(s) were experiencing chronic fail overs which led to service interruptions to AN1x-list. <snip>

Probably a little bit of both of us ;-) Back to the point: most of those voices have been
available in the 'Teklab' archive in the Files secion here at Yahoo! Groups for some time
now. But thanks for searching out 'new' AN1x content!
