ACMidiRouter

Hi, i've been working a bit more on ACMidiRouter, so now it includes a simple Step Sequencer, one of those which are so rudimentary that it can't even save files but is a lot of fun to play with. Multiple instances can run together and are synced automatically, which is ok to sync sequences that go to different channels / interfaces. Could work over a network, dunno about latency, but on localhost it's ok. Apart from that, I've included a whole bunch of XML files which describe the Yamaha's AN1x System Exclusive Messages, and a simple htm file with an image map which generates automatically sliders and buttons of the selected area when you click on it. If you have sysex-descriptions of your own instruments you could try to write your own XML files, well, that's for the more tech-oriented of you guys. It allows to design nice user interface for your gear, scripting access, and later on direct control out of a sequencer. Cheers. Oh, btw, sorry about this, forgot to mention that it requires the latest XML Services (4.0) installed, they can be downloaded @ www.microsoft.com I dunno if it runs on Win98, it runs on Win2k & WinXP. Maybe also msflexgrid needs to get installed, give me some feedback please. Daniel www.digitalfabrikate.de
