Once I switched off daisy chaining my midi, 90%+ problems went away. I started off with a 2x2 midiman. Added a 3x8 splitter a week later and now I use a 8x8, 2x2 and the 3x8 splitter, about to add another 8x8. Works great in win of course as that is what I use with Sonar 3.1.1. Latency, you will always have it but if you use good equipment, you can keep it very low.
I also use a MOTU 24i for audio in and out.

So then daisy chaning midi is like trying to link them all together?
What your saying is just spend the money on a 8x8 interface and alot
of problems go away? Im sorry im just new to all this LOL. How much
latency do u have on your system?

yea, that is what I am saying and Jon too. (not to put words into his thoughts but I believe he is thinking the same)

Latency has different meaning. I set mine at 25ms for mmv (audio), midi is near 3ms, audio recorded in at 5ms using the motu cubase mixer. Latency in what would be a better question... in sonar I set it at audio 7.3. I can go lower but then I will get some drop outs sometimes, depending on how many tracks I am recording at once.

Also, in some bios, you can set the pci latency there as well. In my case I have it at 0.

Also, there will always be at least 3ms between you, computer, synth and speakers (if the speakers are at a reasonable distance say 6 to 12 feet).
It adds up so you get the best you can and work it out to the lowest stable number.

You need to take this to the Nuendo forums at Cubase.net They can provide more
detailed help with Nuendo than the AN1x-list ;-)
