The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Can any of you guys tell me if there is a way to turnthe sound off  
only the notes you use to trigger your midi? Am i overlooking 
something? Also, has anyone came across a voice that sounds anything 
close to a grand piano? Thanks!

You can set Local Off, but then the keyboard input will be sent to MIDI 
out only, and the AN1x only plays what comes in on MIDI in.
