The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

As a sugestion I think that is a good idea to compile a list of famous
musicians that uses/used An1x and collect in some txt or in the Group
database...

For a start, Nitin Sawhney, Phish and Charlie Clouser (Nine Inch Nails). And
of course Tom Brislin of Yes....

I believe Funker Vogt uses an AN1x.

Igor Koroshev from Yes also used to have 2 AN1x (plus EX5 among
several others) on stage.

After a long time away from my AN1x, I´m back w/ an AN200..:-)
Old users may already know me (PinheadX from Brazil)

I tought the same, but in fact Funker Vogt uses a CS1x.

I've heard they use a CS1x onstage as a cheap, replaceable controller,
but they have an AN1x in the studio. My source is hearsay, though.

I heard Glass Hammer use a CS1x live and it sounded amazing. The Minimoog
emulations were bright without aliasing all the way up to dog-ears range.
And no zippering (he used the pitch wheel a lot). At the angle I was
sitting I couldn't see what keyboard I was hearing except that it was blue.
Later when I saw pictures of the concert -- at first it didn't make sense
that the top keyboard for soloing was a blue thing but not an AN1x -- and
since then when I've listened to the songs I was twice amazed by the sound.
