more on reading music and theory

Check out Bootsy Collin's Jungle Bass EP. Check out the totally gonzo mind blowing keyboard work from Bernie Worrell who along with playing with P Funk, the Talking Heads, and virtually inventing synth bass, was a child prodigy and an extrodinary classical pianist. Check out my song, Ritalin Chile, at: http://www.mp3.com/spaceanimals The flute intro is just a cool jazz chord that I stole and transposed and played on a cheesy Mellotron patch. I'm not good with theory or reading (wish I was better) but I slowly worked out the notes and counted on my fingers until I transposed it up to A minor. If I can do it, anyone can. For the record, I am not a child prodigy, nor an extrodinary classical pianist. I like the key of A minor because it's all white keys (what are those black keys for anyway?).
