How do I do this?

How do I do this?

2002-03-25 by christopher john stone

I want to modify the settings of my AN1X's pitch bend wheel
to enable me to pitchbend a sound over a much greater range
than it will currently allow (which is only one note)

The sound needs to start at a very low freq - perhaps 50-
100Hz? - at the bottom of the wheel's travel, and then be
pitchbent to a mid-range, piano sort-of frequency at the
centre wheel setting, then off up into the sonic stratosphere
at the top of the travel

I sense that it should be easy, but cannot seem to do it -
either through the front panel or via AN1X Edit.

Can anyone help?

Thx, C

From the Ctlk Matrix, under VOICE/SCENE SETUP, use the Set
No parameter to choose Pitch Up and/or Ptich Down then use
the Depth paramter to set the desired Pitch Bend range. The
positive and negative amounts can be set independently - the
range can be adjusted +/- two octaves.

Jon

Hi C,

On the Matrix page of An1xEdit you can set the Pitch bend range using
the PB UP & PB DOWN knobs. This gives you a maximum range of 48
semitones.
