Hi all.

I had my an-1x since 98' - it's like 4 years now..
I had it powered on for long time many times (like for 3 weeks without
being off..)
It seems to me that display is getting a bit weaker..
Is the display of this kind as in AN1x (and as I understand on most
current synths too , like Virus/microQ and so on) getting darker and
should be kept turned off when not in use or can they be like 10 years
ON all the time and be the same brighthess?

As fas as I know, every LCD Display is lit from the side. Since it is
made from two glasplates with the actual Display inbetween, a lamp is
put on one or two sides (since the AN1 Display is quite small, probably
only one side). So I would guess, that that lamp is getting weak.
Perhaps it can be changed. And of course, since it is a lamp, it will
get weaker and it can die.
