Whoa!  VERY useful link, Jon.  Thanks.

BTW - The QX7 is a real dog - no way to save except to cassette.  If any of us
are old enough to remember data cassettes, we will testify that it was a very
unreliable storage medium.

I agree - there was nothing worse than finding your tape cassette 
back-up would not restore :-( Thank goodness for CD-Rs! :-)

yea qx7 is SICK mate ive got one for sale if ya want - heaps cheap! 
($3.50 aus) ono! but seriously ive just been given one of these and a 
tx7. has anyone experienced the tx7? i can get it responding to midi 
but the volume is way too low even with the gain maxed out on the 
mixer its only just audible. strange coz its only been used once or 
twice and its been in the cupboard for twenty yrs. i cant imagine 
that its been damaged. any help greatly app.

ok mabe i should download the manual! thanks for that link - problem 
solved!
