I had to play a piece, depressing each key fully, but without "triggering" any notes. This is quite difficult to do, but is a very good exercise for developing a light touch. On a synthesizer it would require choosing a patch that will produce no sound at very low velocity settings. You might select such a patch and spend some time trying to get your music to come out as soft as possible by playing *very* slowly, deliberately, and softly. Although this isn't the most fun practice, it will definitely pay off ! :) Elby
