2 things, 1, would anyone like a set of scripts for VST5? 2, How do I.....

Hello all, I have written a set of scripts in VST 5 for the AN1x, it
will allow you to control a lot of functions of the AN1x(PLG at the
moment, but it should work for a 'Real' AN1x) without having to Arse
about with Mixermaps, The Midi Track Mixer will also allow you to
control these parameters Via Automation.

My second thing is this, I am a bit heavy handed when playing My
keyboard, is there a way to stop myself from doing this? I noticed on
the SW1000XG I have Part Velocity Sensitivity Depth and Offset, would
these be of any help to me?

Could someone explain what the Keyboard Velocity curve is all about? I
think this might have something to do with my question above.

I think the velocity curve is how responsive the keyboard is across its
entire range - eg lower notes might have more velocity than higher notes.

Its either that, or it describes how a velocity value equates to a single
note's volume.

And yeah, I wouldnt mind a VST5 script for the AN150

The curve is the relationship between how how you hit the keys and the
velocity registered....you can effectively change you playing style this
way. So people who are a bit 'heavy handed' as you say , should change it so
that the 'medium-hard' notes they play are actually played back as more
softly-played ones....so you should try some of the curves that bend
upwards...(concave if you like)

Hi Reg,
Why don't you just zip, or stuff, the scripts and upload them to the
Files section here at eGroups for all to access? There are already some
generic folders made for this sort of thing - or create your own if you
prefer.

Jon

Thanks Jon, that is what I was going to do, but I thought I'd ask
anyway. I need to write up a text file to explain how to use the
scripts as well so you guys can use them properly.
