2 (hopefully) simple questions from a new AN1X owner

Hello all and thanks for maintaining this AN1X group. Welcome to my first post. Bought an AN1X about 6mths ago and have had a permenant boner ever since. Still getting my head round it all though. Hopefully you can answer a couple of questions:

1: I was wondering if its possible to use the AN1X to trigger a software synth simultaneously with its own sounds. I wanted to layer my own AN1X presets with some sounds I have on soft synths for live use so that when I play the AN1X you would hear the AN1X sound and the soft synth sound together.

2: Pretty sure this isn't possible but wanted to ask anyway.... Is it possible to have the Arp run in poly mode??? ie; I want to play a 2 note chord and have both notes arppegiate.

many thanks in advance,

Stev

Of course, that's kind of the point of having MIDI. Just set your
softsynth (or VST host) to listen on that midi port and channel, both
will trigger at the same time.

Kind of don't get the question.

So here's what the AN1x can arpeggiate: one scene. You can't have 2
different arps running at once. Now, the arp will trigger any sound you'd
like including any pfat layered unison. But only one arp can run at a time.
So if you split the keyboard, you won't be able to arp one side with a
different arpeggiation than the other.

Sense make, Yoda?
