I find that, occasionally, especially after periods of non-usage, the AN1x starts behaving strangely. And yes, that includes the symptoms that you describe. It could be the battery for all I know, since it's never been changed. You do a factory reset by holding down the '7', '8' and '9' keys whilst switching on the unit, and keeping them pressed until you get a screen that says something like 'Init blah?'. Choose '9' for a factory reset. Then press 'Yes'. As mentioned before, make sure you back up all your voices, settings, sequences, everything. - Peter
