I find that, occasionally, especially after periods of non-usage, the 
AN1x starts behaving strangely. And yes, that includes the symptoms that 
you describe. It could be the battery for all I know, since it's never 
been changed.

You do a factory reset by holding down the '7', '8' and '9' keys whilst 
switching on the unit, and keeping them pressed until you get a screen 
that says something like 'Init blah?'. Choose '9' for a factory reset. 
Then press 'Yes'.

As mentioned before, make sure you back up all your voices, settings, 
sequences, everything.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
