The Edge parameter controls the waveform spectrum. If you have a 
square wave selected and the Edge is set at 127 you have a square 
wave, At zero you have a sine wave. In the middle you have something 
in between. A square wave has harmonics. A sine wave does not.So the 
edge parameter is a type of filter but sounds different than your 
standard low pass filter.
