You were right Jon about putting it in PLG mode in the AN1xEdit 
program. Now it works fine.  Which is a very good sign.  I followed 
your advice and also downloaded the latest driver for my US 122.  
But I am still having trouble doing a bulk dump in the AN Expert 
Editor. I go to setup -> Recieve AN1x Bulk Dump.  Is this the right 
operation since I have a AN 200?  There are two other options that 
are not in bold which are: Insert AN Bulk Dump Data.. and Extract 
Bulk Dump Data.. . Is that what I want or should I follow up on my 
problem with the "recieve AN1x bulk dump".  It's really frustrating 
me because I can make new patches and store them on my AN 200 but I 
can't upload my old patches to adjust them!  I wish this synth would 
have just put the last options found in this program in the synth.  
There are plently of buttons that don't have two purposes.  Oh well, 
I guess I get what I pay for.  I shouldn't complain about a synth 
that is $200. : )
