The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Yes, I've read through the manual and spent hours trying to figure 
this out.  So first, I went to the Midi Setup box and made sure the 
Midi In/Thru/Out were all connected to my external midi device.  
Then under the AN Expert Editor setup I made sure that under the 
midi folder both ports were turned on and all of the rest of the 
boxes (Midi chanel,part no., device no., board no.) I left at 1.  
Under insert and transmit, I have it clicked on user presets 1-128, 
bulk dump interval at 600msec. Then I go to recieve AN1x bulk dump 
(so all of my patterns can come up on the program and nothing 
happens.  How long is it suppost to take. I usually wait 10 min and 
see no progress.  I have both Midi In's and out's cords going into 
the system.  When I call up a pattern in the AN Editor, it does work 
with my synth and I hear the changes made. I just need help doing 
the bulk dumps.  Thanks.
