The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

I'm getting tired of lugging my old tube head and 15 inch speaker so 
I'm thinking of solid state. With a 50 watt tube amp I usually play 
with the volume on 4. I know solid state amps are quieter watt for 
watt. What's the solid state equivalent of a 50 watt tube amp? Roland 
and Peavy both put out cheap amps. Are they any good?
