I thought the whole point of having a forum was to help people find stuff they need, rather than to massage the ego's of those who find it necessary to get some sort of feedback on their songs. Since this is highly subjective, it is therefore completely pointless and serves no purpose. Being able to find an editor or a piece of a missing puzzle is far more useful. So why then allow people to upload song files which are useless and then take the moral high ground and remove files that are actually useful. What is the point of that? If someone needs the AN200 editor, surely this is the place to find it. It certainly is not with Yamaha who regulary take over a month to come back to me with anything useful despite DAILY reminders. They may make pretty good instruments, but they have no idea about customer service. Oh and when I lost my AN200 CD-Rom, they wanted to charge me £20 for a new one despite having over £3,000 worth of Yamaha gear in my studio (and all the receipts) And then we get called the crooks for sharing a file? Ho Hum.
