You might want to search the list archives here at Yahoo! Groups. There have been a 
number of WinXP users with reports leaning both ways (don't recall the specifics.)

FWIW, I had a MIDI UNO 1x1 working under WinXP Home Edition on my wifes laptop 
but did not test with AN1xEdit only a seperate app specific to another box...
