Agreed, it's a keyboard touch I rate about a 3 of 10. Oh, there's lots worse out there. But the point given that you could just edit the patch to disable the aftertouch on certain pads is exactly what I've been doing for 5 years. Further, when I play a lead where I must have the aftertouch working I just control the AN1x via MIDI from a better feeling keyboard (my 01W). Then, since it's a lead, my left hand is free to work the ribbon, wheels and knobs on the AN. Things could be worse... on April 17 a bunch of us will venture into a large music store and abuse their synths. At that time I plan on testing the ION for its feel. IIRC it doesn't even have aftertouch. Again, things could be worse.
