You would better off buying a multiclient midi interface then route its I/O to your synths and editors,.I use MAudio 8x8 usb-it works fine.

the problem is that when i start cubase, xg edit95, an1x edit i get a "device already in use" midi error. without midi yoke i had it setup this way...

midi out b- sw1000 synth 2




this is how i had it setup with midi yoke and i had it working for a while....


CUBASE MIDI SETUP

midi thru- enabled

thru off channel- off

input from - (enabled inputs) - sw1000 midi in
- midi yoke nt 1
- midi yoke nt 2

midi input - sw1000 midi in
mapped to - sw1000 midi in

midi out - sw1000xg synth 1
mapped to- sw1000xg synth 1

midi filtering - none

***do not "chase events" in cubase.***

XGEDIT95 MIDI PORT SETUP

midi in - none
midi out a - midi yoke nt 2
midi out b - midi yoke nt 3

AN1XEDIT MIDI PORT SETUP

midi in - none
midi out - midi yoke nt 1
midi thru - enabled
