The an200 editor can read an1x files but no mid files. I would be 
forever grateful if someone would take the time to do it for me! ;-)

Have you tried to load your .MID file into your AN200? Marco 
implies his Cubase .ALL file which contained an AN1x SysEx 
dump loaded into his AN200. If you like, I'll be happy to load your 
.MID into the AN1x and convert it into an .AN1 and/or .ANP file
