I always thought the AN1x filter algorithms were modelled after the Prophet
5. Didn't Yamaha buy Sequential off Korg? It just rings a bell from the
Prophet VS and Yamaha's Vector synth line...like the SY22 from a couple of
years, prior?

I like Bruce's take on the sounds but it would be really fun to hear from
someone who actually designed the synth.  I was crying for years on the Midi
Guitar list trying to find a bi-lingual engineer type who could translate
some Japanese... and one gentleman finally popped up.  I'll ask him if he
can find the 411 from Yammamahahaha themselves.

I had the review from Keyboard back in '97 and they didn't mention anything
I recall about the design parameters - for that matter, none of the VA
synths discussed had any info on the modeling parameters.
