Try this - Power off your AN1x; Hold down the [ASSIGN] button on the front panel while powering on the AN1x; Either "mode1" or "mode2" will display on the LCD during the start-up procedure. While in Mode 1 the AN1x adheres to the MIDI standard for Control Change messages - while in Mode 2 the AN1x has a special list of CC parameters so that nearly *every* parameter can be automated via MIDI CCs.
