If you spend some time with the matrix control and set up some 
controllers you can change the preset sounds radically. Setting the 
mod wheel to morph, setting up a knob to change the wave form,  the 
algorithm, fm src 1 and 2, osc edge, etc. I'd say changing the filter 
and the wave form change the sound the most. Changing the type of 
filter works well also.

Try this. Set the sound to Dual. In the matrix assign the modwheel so 
that scene one gets quieter when you push the modwheel and scene 2 
gets louder. Instant access to 2 presets with a lot of variation in 
between.
