The JD800 was a *nice* synth but be aware all those JD sliders 
transmit SysEx strings not MIDI CC's. Say 'goodbye MIDI 
bandwidth' if you record many realtime adjustments into your 
sequencer. On the other hand, for live performance it shouldn't 
matte much aside from trying to control slave devices.
