I think this an excellent approach. The AN1x is nothing short of 
versatile. In addition to great sound you'll find the programmable 
Assign Knobs, Ribbon Controller, Wheels and foot pedal inputs 
a real asset for both live control of MIDI Modules and VSTi's.
