Another thing (god...there are so many) that puzzles me is I can turn OFF transmit channel, receive channel, device ID and STILL it reacts as soon as power up. Again, I can do this with the IN (sb card) cable pulled out of the An1x (OUT) and it makes no difference. I would expect it to ignore anything coming in in the MIDI port with all those things turned off. Maybe I misunderstand the meaning of IFF in the context.
