Re: [AN1x-list] Transferring patches from AN1x to PLG150AN

2001-06-06 by Reggie

I expect Gary G can answer this more fully, but I'll give it a go, The
PLG AN only has 1 FX unit, 'Amp sim', but the Host device may well offer
you some FX instead (I have mine plugged into my SW1000XG so I get all
the FX from that!). Free EG will be fine, Step Sequencer will be fine
and The sounds on Scene 1 will also be fine, However, The PLG AN only
has 1 scene, So any sounds that you have that use the 2nd scene will
have to have the 2nd scene copied and pasted to Scene 1 on a new patch.

I have delved into this as I thought that a lot of the sounds that were
posted were pretty 'weak' until I realised about the second Scene (Using
an-edit in 'PLG 150 mode' does not show the second scene!)

So, I started to extract some of them and found out what I was missing.

At this moment in time There is no software out there that will Convert
the second Scene info. Into a PLG AN readable format, But I get the
feeling that if we ask Michael at http://www.xgpad.com he may add this
sort of thing to XGPad for us?
