No doubt it can, but only if you really need that zillions of functions and features Nuendo and other software offers you. It depends on your pleas (hm english...right word?). I don´t need all that, and for sure there is a software solution for my needs, but i also had to buy a brandnew computer with new audiocard and software and new Monitor and so forth, all in all i would end up with more money which i am going to spend now on a hardware sequencer and a HD- recorder. As i said, everyone has to find the best solution for himself. Some prefer the expandibility and functionality of Cubase/Logic etc. some are satisfied with a Akai MPC as their main sequencer. Everybody should choose what they need, like and want most. A computer is hindering the flow of my creativity, it might support yours.
