Er...you're going to be waiting quite a while. I can just picture a flock 
of flying pigs in the sky when those Linux audio programs come out.

Hate to break this to you, Linux is a superior networking OS but is 
woefully inadequate for multimedia applications (audio, video). *None* of 
the major German and American audio software companies has any plans for 
Linux platform programs. Heck, even the best bet for multimedia (BeOS which 
had waaaay more multimedia potential than Linux could ever wish for) had 
its development programs scrapped by Steinberg last year.
