FWIW Department - I *finally* got my hands on an Opcode MIDIport 32
USB
MIDI Interface to try out. The good news - it was much more reliable
than the MIDIMAN MIDIsport 2x2. The bad news - no improvement in
receiving SysEx transfers via USB to AN1xEdit on the Mac.
My other freeware app, ASR-X Editor, behaved MUCH better with the
Opcode than it did with the MIDIMAN but overall it was not a total
success. :-( Only half the neccessary commands/request would complete
(which is 50% better than the MIDIMAN!)
MacOS 9.04, w/ USB 1.4 drivers, and OMS 2.3.8. *sigh* I'm so glad I
moving on to Emagic sw & hw ;-)
regards,
Jon
