Hi All, I too am very curious about the O/S ROM upgrade.... The thing I don't understand is, why isn't *everyone* affected by the problems related to the old version? Shouldn't we all be needing the update? Or, were some of the chips faulty, in which case simply a chip replacement (still containing the old version) would suffice. ***For those experiencing "old O/S bugs": How long did it take for the problems to rear their ugly heads? I'm sort of thinking of getting the chip just for safety's sake - just in case a problem arises in 5 year's time - and Yamaha are saying "An1 what???"! Does anyone know anything more??? A new ROM version doesn't give you any new features, so unless you AN1x ROM is broken or blown up, you don't need one anyway. - Peter Community email addresses: Post message: AN1x-list@onelist.com Subscribe: AN1x-list-subscribe@onelist.com Unsubscribe: AN1x-list-unsubscribe@onelist.com List owner: AN1x-list-owner@onelist.com Shortcut URL to this page: http://www.onelist.com/community/AN1x-list
