Brian, the AN200 editor only works as a plug-in to Yamaha's XGWorks. This can run under Windows 7 32- and 64-bit. I am using XGWorks 3.7 lite, but you can also get XGWorks4 from the friendly XG users group at http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/xgworksusers/ where a nice man named Claude will give you a link if you ask - you'll see lots of other people have done the same. I can't remember how much mucking about there was installing compatible versions (eh WinXP), but it wasn't too bad - there are probably instructions with the files at the XG site. The AN200 editor is, at the very least, a great insight into what the AN200 is capable of, which is a fair bit more than the front panel, or even the manual, would have you believe. Incidentally, I mentioned in a posting above, that I am working on an iPad based editor for AN1x / AN200, but progress is very slow at present due to heavy work commitments. Suffice to say that I will be looking at AN200 editor for inspiration and sysex codes! Bill --- In AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com, "Brian P" <ududidj@...> wrote: > > > > Good info! That random pan is the thing that I was noticing scattered in various rhythm tracks that I was looking for. I was able to get the whole individual rhythm tracks to pan via the front panel but that's as far as I got. > > Are you using the editor on Win7? > > Thanks for the tips. I'll have to look into this more! > > Brian >
