Good info! That random pan is the thing that I was noticing scattered in various rhythm tracks that I was looking for. I was able to get the whole individual rhythm tracks to pan via the front panel but that's as far as I got. Are you using the editor on Win7? Thanks for the tips. I'll have to look into this more! Incidentally, for the Rhythm track, value of 00 seems to set it to RND (random) which will presumably bounce your rhythm sounds around on each beat. Sounds like fun. > > So you could use a MIDI DAW which can output Sysex codes, or XG Works + AN200 Editor, or a MIDI controller box (eg BCR2000) to set the pan for each track. > > In theory!!!! I'm testing the AN Editor/Sysex on a PC not connected to an AN200, so I can't test it - that's up to you. > > Have fun :) > > Bill > > > > > --- In AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com, "Brian P" <ududidj@> wrote: > > > > Hello, > > > > I'm scratching my head with trying to pan synth and rhythm tracks on this unit. For the synth track, I know that I can pan the track with the knob and can record a free EG to do that- problem is that I hear zippering going on. Is there a way to record each step with it's own pan assignment just to see if this would help? > > > > For the rhythm tracks, some sounds (i.e. high hat) naturally go to L/R while others stay dead center. Is this tweakable at all or am I at a loss for panning here as well? > > > > Thanks for any insight. > > > > Brian > > >
