Thanks for the links! I checked all those that I hadn't already checked; nothing there now but I'll check back from time to time. The Doepfer site has a bunch of cool stuff. I don't have a production number (whatever that is; there's nothing stamped on the part), I just have the Yamaha part #. This one may well be Yamaha-specific, because it's rather permanently attached to a mounting bracket with screw holes that match up with the associated Yamaha circuit board and the weird-shaped AN1x case. It's not urgent; this is my "backup/studio" unit. The "gig" unit lives in its case by the door. Given its age and its importance to my setup, I like having a backup ready to go. If the "gig" unit goes down I could always swap out the ribbon, but then I'll be on thinner ice. Best bet seems to be keeping an eye out for a dead AN1x; never know what other parts might be needed in years to come. ;-) Van --- In AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com, Jeff <jf.serviere@...> wrote: > http://www.doepfer.de/home_e.htm > http://www.synthzone.com/repair.htm > http://www.vintageplanet.nl/ > http://www.touched-by-sound.com/en/Vintage-Vintage_Synth_Keys-Synthesizer.html > http://www.synthrepairservices.com/ > http://www.synthmuseum.com/resources.html > jammie a écrit : > > have you got the production number as most things are made by > > indepandant manufacturers > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > > I called Yamaha parts dept and the correct part name is > > > "Ribbon Sensor" and it's part #VY687100.
